Absolute disaster. Needed someone to give me access to my unit since and there is nobody working at the location during their official working hours. The phone number left on the door is for an office in Berlin, they provided another phone number that goes straight to voicemail. Shurgard support called directly through the app are very understanding and tried to help but ultimately couldn’t get anyone to the location. Ive been trying to get in contact with anyone about accessing my storage since the location was acquired by Shurgard I’ve called 3 times and they’ve told me I would receive a call from the Stellingen office to schedule a visit to help me access my storage. That hasn’t happened. I’ve spent weeks trying to solve this issue and I have not been able to do so. This location has NO ON-SITE help and it’s ridiculous knowing they took over from another company and people would have issues accessing their units.
The staff helps in any situation, it is simple, and they speak English.
It's really expensive, but you can also spontaneously rent a warehouse; we always had a contact person in case there were any problems. What you could complain about is that if you lock yourself out on the weekend there is no way to get in via Shugard.
A really bad company. The customer service is very poor. “You will be called back in 10 minutes” turned into three days. Ineffective rent increase due to succinctly justified “increased costs”. Right after the on-site office closed and the space became more rentable storage space. Like almost everywhere and especially very modern: less service, but more expensive. Logical, right?
