Needed a storage unit and advice on what sizing, Matthew was super helpful and explained the entire process for us and showed us examples of sizes of units. Helped us with pricing and made everything very easy. Would recommend!
Excellent company to deal with for my storage needs, the premises, access & security is exemplary but more importantly the staff are super professional, polite & helpful. One particular mention two recent experiences with a chap called Jo from south Croydon branch, this young man is every reason I use and will continue to use Shurgard, has helped me within the last twelve months twice and resolved the issue swiftly.
Had a unit at the South Croydon Shugard for about 10 years. Find staff on site very helpful, particularly Matthew who takes time to check everything is as it should be. Can always get in an out using the app, trolleys when I need them. No issues of pests or anything else and most importantly, a good price for my unit.
Avoid this place Completely unprofessional and extremely stressful experience. I rented a unit at Shurgard, completed the online verification, and moved some of my belongings in without any problem. A few days later, I suddenly found myself blocked from accessing my own unit with no warning at all. When I called, I was told clearly that I could regain access by bringing my driving licence and my boarding pass, since I am flying the next day. They said this would be enough.
