Secure, clean, dry and warm storage. The team working in the office are super friendly, helpful and welcoming. The only negatives are not about the branch but about the company. When I call the branch I use I am connected to a random branch somewhere in the UK. Why, I don't know. The price increased a lot in one go which was disappointing.
Great place and staff are very helpful and friendly. Very easy to deal with. Great communication. Like the new security and extended access. Only reason i did not give a 5 is the phone signal is very bad in many parts of the building. I would suggest getting an internal booster. I assume many people would benefit from a good signal inside.
The only positive I’ve had was Dan that works at the Southampton building. The units are boiling, and I would imagine freezing in winter. Shurgard do not tell you when signing the contract, unless you go through all the small T&C’s, you must email a cancellation 15 days before the invoice date. Do not think that even because you communicated you only need one month storage, they will trick you into paying more. Dan and the team at Shurguard Self Storage on Millbrook Road in Southampton provide a first class customer service. Always helpful and friendly with great advice to maximise our storage options I’d recommend them and give them a solid 5 stars!
Sue is the best person to deal with at Shurgard. Coming back after a couple of weeks she remembered me, she has been really helpful and knowledgeable making everything very easy and smooth.
