One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with any storage company. On my move-in day, no one was available to assist me, even though I was told someone would be there. I waited nearly three hours before giving up and returning another day — only to find the lift wasn’t working. I had to carry all my belongings up the stairs myself. When I came back a week later, the lift was still broken! Damon was very helpful. Unfortunately a 10 sq foot locker I wanted had been booked 10 minutes before I arrived, and a lady who was set to move hers out hadn't. The 15sq foot space is double the price for some reason (£91pm), but the same as the 20sq ft. If 10 sq ft becomes available or the 15sq ft drops in price I'll be back.
Absolutely Abysmal experience with this place. Spend a bit more money and go somewhere else. We were moving house yesterday, which is stressful enough, but when we arrived at Shurguard to store our belongings we were denied access to our unit because they were painting the floor, despite us turning up during access hours. The storage used to be so affordable and convenient . They now have increased their price so much so that a small unit per month it’s almost a hundred pound . I was trying to keep it up but unfortunately with the cost of living I had to cancel my unit . On top of that construction works are they for a least a year now . Issues with accessibly to the units , they are closing early now . In the nutshell the company it’s getting worse than it was and more the customer experience so unsatisfactory
Massive inflation busting price increases last November not notified but collected from credit card. Building work underway so inadequate parking spaces so you risk a parking ticket on the road. Often not manned, limited number of trolleys and poor lighting ( if any) inside of units. Used to be a much better location but now just another place with promos for new clients and then massive price rises once you’re in. Very disappointed.
