The tech was polite and friendly and courteous. The front desk employee was very unfriendly, dismissive, and ignored concerns and questions. This young man seems like he hates people. I was told one thing over the phone and another when I got there. While I’m there I received several texts and calls from facility about my appointment that I had already checked into. So I waited for over an hour for my CTs at this Conroe location. (The Woodlands location is always on time.) After I finally got the CTs, I asked for a disc to be made. The not very friendly guy at desk said it would take about 15-20 minutes which is typical. After waiting 30 minutes and getting to hear all about the lady at the desk sharing her love relationship AND her sex life with the guy, I went to the desk and asked this lady if the disc was ready. The gentleman who performed my CT was great, and I would rate him five stars however I was quite frustrated to see that another family who came in with a child was not given assistance to place three chairs together for the father, mother and young child with an injury, there were plenty of chairs available but none together. Guest in the lobby aside from myself had done nothing to accommodate the family in the front desk. Edit: As expected, I received my EOB which states I have a ZERO cost share, which means you, Simon Med, took money from me you should not have! How many other people do you do this to that are not educated enough to know how to read an EOB? Why are you billing patients before billing insurance? Why is the billing department passing on their jobs to front desk receptionists that know nothing about insurance? The staff was very professional really the front office was wonderful they called my insurance and drs office to help me with changes since im allergic to the dye. The technician was wonderful and put me at ease right away and that is really hard to do since im a nervous person. He was great and my ct scan was quick. 10 out of 10 visit. I was in and out in record time. Very easy. Thank you for such an easy visit.
