Had a brain MRI with & without contrast yesterday and was very nervous, but Khana was incredible. She was fantastic during my brain scan. So kind, attentive, and made sure I felt comfortable the whole time. Thank you for the wonderful care! They took the time to explain every step, provided a squeeze ball for communication, and ensured I was comfortable with a blanket. Excellent experience at SimonMed.Highly recommend this facility for anyone needing a calm experience!
This is long, but the second half of the review explains the 5 stars. Dealing with Simon Med at a corporate level has been a terrible experience. They made scheduling errors and then the machine in Redwood City was broken and they only realized it after they had me in the machine and had to pull me out and then I had to reschedule AGAIN. Their mistakes caused a two week delay in getting into my appointment. Very stressful when you are trying to get results. Also, the people at the main call center are not knowledgeable. The imaging technician at SimonMed was excellent — professional, kind, efficient, and made the actual appointment a very positive experience. Unfortunately, the scheduling and phone support process was extremely frustrating. A call that should have taken about 10 minutes lasted nearly 50 minutes because the phone representative repeatedly struggled to correctly enter basic information such as my insurance numbers, letters, and even the spelling of my name. This facility has great employees and I’m so grateful for them especially Hana who did my MRI scans. I had went to a previous facility and it was so scary, I didn’t get a gown that fit, I didn’t get ear plugs, I didn’t even get a sheet for my legs after asking for it because my gown was so short and it was cold. I also did not get the emergency button and so dark in that room which was so scary to me. I had an amazing experience. Both people that were working were really helpful. My technician, worked super hard to make me feel comfortable during my MRI w/o contrast. The only reason why I gave four stars. I went to the wrong location. It would be helpful in the reminder by text, that the location is included. I looked online and it directed me to different location. Totally my error. Like I said would be helpful to included the location in the text reminder.
