Duncan, the technician, make me feel so comfortable and well cared for. He was professional and reassuring. It was truly a 5-star experience...I can't imagine how getting an MRI could have been more positive thanks to Duncan. SimonMed don't ever let him go. On a scale of 1-10, he's an 11!
I had a mammogram done yesterday and the tech I had did not make me feel comfortable at all. She did not have good bedside manners. I work at a doctor’s office I’m an MA , I know to be nice and welcoming to our patients and she was just not friendly at all. I have had Mammos done before and this experience has been the worst for me. The appointments number is not located in the clinic I went to and knew very little about my clinic, not even the cross street at its location. The San Mateo Clinic is easy to access though not at the suite number given by central office and all in one suite, not in 2 as main office said. The clinic is comfortable and attractive. The staff are friendly, professional and efficient. I especially commend Dana, the receptionist, who was exceptionally pleasant and helpful and organized.
The front office was friendly and efficient both on the phone and in person. They get 5 stars. The radiology tech seemed very laissez-faire about my comfort and safety. I had no hand buzzer to contact her during the first MRI. And my right arm was squashed as I went into the tube. Also each of my arms was touching the sides of the machine. It got very warm. She gets a 3/5 stars.
It was clean personnel were friendly. My only concern was as I arrived nobody came to greet clients. I got the attention of person seated there and she then explained some were a bit late . That was fine but in a professional practice it feels better to he greeted than ignored. She did respond but it would e been more courteous to walk over to counter so I could ask quietly about using the bathroom . They were prompt and efficient once we were checked in.
