The appointments number is not located in the clinic I went to and knew very little about my clinic, not even the cross street at its location. The San Mateo Clinic is easy to access though not at the suite number given by central office and all in one suite, not in 2 as main office said. The clinic is comfortable and attractive. The staff are friendly, professional and efficient. I especially commend Dana, the receptionist, who was exceptionally pleasant and helpful and organized.

The front office was friendly and efficient both on the phone and in person. They get 5 stars. The radiology tech seemed very laissez-faire about my comfort and safety. I had no hand buzzer to contact her during the first MRI. And my right arm was squashed as I went into the tube. Also each of my arms was touching the sides of the machine. It got very warm. She gets a 3/5 stars.

I got a text saying I should fill out forms ahead of time but I never received the text or email with them. There were six people ahead of me to check in. I waited nearly a half hour past my appointment time to be called in. Either you’re scheduling too many people at the same time or you need more people at the front desk. I read through the comments about extensive wait times which were acknowledged by you but nothing seems to have changed.

This facility used to be Peninsula Ultrasound and it was well kept and a nice facility. It’s been quite a few years since I’ve been here and now SimonMed took it over and it’s clear the facility has been neglected. Also, I was inundated with communications and reminders of this appointment. I’m surprised they didn’t show up at my door! I got emails, texts, phone calls, and voicemails to remind me about a routine mammogram…. At least 30 different communication, communications and I am not exaggerating! Gentleman who took my appt did not properly record my answers to his questions. Had he, I would’ve been scheduled for a diagnostic mammogram instead of routine mammogram. Front desk staff was dismissive and unwelcoming. I didn’t get seen until 45mins after my scheduled appt time Technician performing the mammogram was ok, she was all business; and Thats fine, but if you’re going to be handling my breasts a little warmth would have been appreciated. This is Likely the last time I will schedule with SimonMed
