I shopped around on my insurance website and found this location in Santa Ana. Entire staff was great. MRI technician was super helpful and explained the procedure in detail. Went the extra mile by helping me with my boot and was just so kind.
Santa Ana location - I arrived at the office about 15 minutes before my appointment time. After checking in, I waited an additional 33 minutes to be summoned for my appointment. After waiting, I asked the check-in clerk how much longer before my appointment. The appointment clerk checked the computer then walked to the exam room. She returned about 30 seconds later with the MRI technician and pointed to my paperwork sitting in a rack. Almost immediately my name was called for my MRI. HORRIBLE TELEPHONE SYSTEM!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DONT GO HERE. GO SOMEWHERE BETTER. They have no direct office number for any of their locations. The number you see on Google maps just transfers you directly to the national scheduling system. I already had approval from both my insurance and the ortho dr for a Stat MRI from the day before and they kept calling and texting me to reschedule because they didn't get insurance approval. Everyone was really welcoming, receptionist, & staff. The young lady that did my MRI was great she answered all my questions. I really recommend this MRI location. I went to the 1401 N Tustin Ave STE# 170 Santa Ana 92706 location.
Nice staff and all went smoothly after I was called. 2 issues: 1) I was called almost 30 minutes past my appointment time 2) I was told my insurance copay was about $300. My wife had the scan last week for $100. I was told that was for direct pay. Of course I switched to direct pay. This is crazy and what if I had not asked?
