The receptionist (?Melanie?) who checked me in at the San Francisco facility was professional, detailed, explained everything understandably, and tried to adjust the schedule to fit my needs. She really impressed me. More importantly, during my long but expected waiting time for my procedure, I was able to listen in on interchanges she had with patients regarding their insurances, a very challenging job. The experience overall was not especially efficient. Before: I appreciated the call and guidance on how to get in the building. Very helpful. I filled out the online forms. Once I arrived, I had to fill out a similar form. That always annoys me, and it seemed to be an issue for other people as well. The receptionist was nice, but one client was taking all of her time. It was not a great mammogram experience. First, the receptionist who was very nice but seemed to be having a medical situation and needed some topical treatment. Second, the technologist stayed in a chair the whole time therefore the positioning to complete the required x-rays was extremely uncomfortable. Overall I highly recommend that customer service should be improved for this provider as I've had much better mammos elsehere. It's already a scary process to go through and having a kind and patient staff goes a long way.
All of the staff were very professional and courteous. The procedure was explained thoroughly, which left me with no questions or concerns. Everyone was kind, engaging, and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. My procedure was also completed in a very timely manner, and I truly appreciated the excellent care I received.
The staff especially the receptionist needs to learn to be kind & polite.Her attitude is very rude and discriminating. Also the pricing mentioned on the call and jn person are different. Be careful. They do not inform about receiving the Doctor’s order prior to the appointment. The center is clean.
