I’ve been in several veterinary hospitals before. When I walked through the door, they were very kind and they love animals. And they went but a few minutes then I went back and I met the nurse and I’m at the doctor and she explained it and she took her time. She went in a rush to get back out the door like physicians are. She explained everything so well I will never go anywhere else but there.
We own a Standard poodle who is very dear to us. He became very ill recently and was treated at the vet school in Raleigh. We found out that he will need close monitoring for life. We asked a trusted neighbor who is a doctor, what veterinary clinic she recommended and she highly recommended Skeet Club Veterinary. I loved that the receptionist went back and asked the doctors to find out if any of them had a special interest in IMHA and she got us in that very day with Dr. Kimery. Today I had to euthanize my best friend of 16 years. My Lola, she went everywhere with me. I have to tell you about my experience. I walked into Skeet Club veterinary Hospital, which she was last seen about a month ago. It was 4:30pm and I didn’t have an appointment. Dr. Gottwalt has been our primary vet for years and she is truly the best. We have two active boxer brothers, and she’s been there with us through everything — from double knee replacement to helping our oldest, who has now been in remission from lymphoma for several years. We truly believe she saved his life by getting him referred to an oncologist right away. Our boys absolutely LOVE visiting the Total Care Skeet Club team. I have been taking my dog to this vet clinic for almost ten years now and always loved going to Dr Goho or Dr Whittaker. However, I was very disappointed with my visit today with Dr Figgatt. From the start, I felt my concerns were dismissed rather than addressed.
