My procedure at SCS was extremely positive. The front desk staff are professional, polite, and very competent and efficient. My nurse was super nice, and explained EVERYTHING to me fully and concisely. She was compassionate and caring throughout the procedure. The people were excellent ! I was told exactly what was going to happen and how long it was going to take. I was properly numbed before the cancer was removed from my arm and there was no pain. As expected more was removed but no more removal was necessary. The site was bandaged and wound care was discussed and after scheduling a follow-up I was released. I was impressed by the efficiency and kindness of the doctor and each of her staff I encountered. That was particularly appreciated during the procedure; where I expected much discomfort, I felt very little - surely a testament to their excellence in training and experience? That made all the difference in the procedure.
The experience began with Anna, a scheduler with a kind voice and the patience of Job. The appointed time was met, very short wait, maybe 5 minutes. DR. Suffer (spelling?) was informative and careful as she had to inject lidocaine very close to my eye. The results came back from pathology and the office notified me immediately. A week earlier my mother had a similar biopsy in the same city where she was told it would be 21 days before results.
My visit was prompt and professional and friendly. Bedside manner of nurse and doctor were excellent. Explained everything that they were going to do and gave me personal cellphone in case of any urgent need after the surgery was done. Highly Recommend them.
