We had a great experience building our home with Fischer Homes. McKenna was fantastic to work with throughout the entire process—knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to answer our questions. Our Project Manager, Nick, did an excellent job keeping us informed during construction and ensuring everything stayed on track. Building a home can be stressful, but both McKenna and Nick made the experience smooth and enjoyable. We're very happy with our new home and would gladly recommend Fischer Homes to others.
I live in a Fischer homes neighborhood. They have an extremely strict HOA. Also the houses can either have lots of problems or minimal problems. They contract everything out so if you do have issues they tell you figure out who the contractor was and contact them. They take zero accountability for anything and hire the cheapest labor they can find. The workers drive through the neighbor hood at 30+ MPH. My experience is that anything that can go wrong has gone wrong. I've had my internet cable cut at least twice by contractors burying the line or installing mulch, etc. I've had a leak in the plumbing and they had to cut a hole in the drywall to repair it. The plumbing was fixed but not installed correctly resulting in a 2nd return trip correct the issue so drywall could get fixed. I wish I could tell you to move here. I just can’t in good faith. We were made to believe that the HOA was “relaxed”. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Even things that are allowed, take forever to get approved and you have to submit a ton of documentation. Not allowing sheds is a huge problem when the garages are so tiny. It’s impossible to keep all the lawn equipment in your garage and park two cars in there. Not allowing sheds is completely ridiculous and makes me regret buying here.
