I was at Skyland in 2013-2014 and they helped nurse me back to health after a terribly traumatic Bipolar episode. I was there for ten months and I can’t say enough good about the staff. The only thing I would change is not allowing people to smoke so close to the building at South. The smoke from outside would come into my room sometimes and really irritated me.
I was pleased with the overall staff, however there were a few counselors that seemed to only be there for the pay.
More follow up care after graduation
I would appreciate being able to talk to counselors freely and not feel judged or scared to confide in them
Every type of therapy developed into holistic recovery
This program is saving my life - I have been to other institutions in the past, and this is truly the only holistic one I have ever seen. Shoutouts to all of the staff.
The program at Skyland Trail is second to none! I learned so much!

She is living on her own and is enrolled in graduate school. She is studying for a Masters in... read more
