Two stars only reason it wasn't a one is because I liked the food a lot and some of the staff were chill and fitness other than that everything was Hogwash. My last two weeks i was locked up in the residential building unable to interact with anyone this all lead up to me getting dishonorably discharged for God knows what. with them recommending I go to another year long treatment facility. absolutely not, before that they sent me to a magical place called peachford(local physch ward) and ill tell you what I enjoyed my time ... read more

“Skyland Trail affirmed my son’s groomer. This is not trauma care. This is institutional betrayal.” If you’re a parent considering Skyland Trail, stop and read this. Skyland Trail was one of the best things that happened to me. Before Skyland, I barely knew how to cope because of not so great therapists. I was deep into my depression and only going deeper. Having family therapy with Elizabeth helped me better my communication with my parents and made me feel more confident that I would thriv... read more

At Skyland it was a safer and more humane form of treatment. Skyland is a hands-off facility meaning the staff cannot touch you and the clients are non-aggressive. This makes a world of difference in treatment because there’s not a constant fear or vigilance at Skyland. In other treatments I experienced a lot of frustration because ... read more

Mental Health treatment is something that is very, very hard to perfect. Often times, there will be at least one aspect or another of a treatment facility that falls flat, whether it be living conditions, psychiatric care, or program organization and execution. I truly believe that if there is any place that even comes close to being a perfect treatment center, it is Skyland Trail. The treatment staff was so kind, understanding, and helful. They take their time to work as hard as they can to create a treatment plan that work... read more
