Great experience with Smartlock Self Storage in San Angelo. The facility is clean, secure, and very easy to access. I really appreciated how smooth the move-in process was and how well-maintained everything is. The location feels safe, the units are in excellent condition, and customer service was helpful and responsive when I had questions. If you’re looking for reliable, no-hassle storage, I’d definitely recommend this place.
I like the 24 hr access. The keyless entry is cool but you have to keep your phone handy with the app open every⁹ time you come through the front door f movers are hired you have to hang out by the front door to let them in EVERY TIME. Last issue is the rat droppings. I opened my unit for 1st time and there were TONS of rat droppings. My unit wasn't swept before me. Only giving 5 stars so I'll get $10 off next month's rent
Mice ate, chewed on, and pooped all over our stuff! Mice living in our boxes! We incurred thousands of dollars worth of damage in a couple months' time. Just look around the hallways and out front to see dead mice and poop everywhere. It smells horrible. And they increased the rent too! Move out before your stuff gets eaten too :(
Signing up for a unit online was super easy. I moved from Northern California to San Angelo for my job and will be travelling a lot so I needed an inexpensive and secure storage facility. I chose the smallest option simply because I came with what for into my car. However, I had to change to a different facility after 7 weeks of being out of town for work. Had a great experience renting with them! I love that everything can be done online which is convenient and you don’t have to make that extra trip to the location just to finish up paperwork. The climate on location is great for storing just about anything you may have at home and everything is done from your phone which make you feel safe since the front door can’t be opened without having an account nor can your unit.
