Family Owned Since 1979! Bud Chatham dreamed of owning the Snake River Cabins since he was an 18 year-old skinny kid, toiling away his college summers at SRC. He’d scrub the bathrooms by day, and talk for hours on a payphone to his incredibly smart and talented girlfriend (now wife) Kelly by night. Bud’s uncle Stan and aunt Karen ran the property for three decades and at every turn, they gave Bud a chance to show his stuff. Despite being young and skinny, Uncle Stan gave him the thumbs-up to train as a river guide under two... read more

The Snake River cabins was a perfect spot just outside of Jackson. Loved the community feeling, laundry, gas fire pits, river, store, etc. The rooms were very clean except for the floors. They did not seem like they had been mopped in quite some time. We got there late so cleaned them ourselves with wet paper towels 🤷♀️. The cabins are well thought out and have everything you need and are updated. The only thing we did not like were the beds in the loft bedroom. They are thin with heavy plastic over them so they sound ter... read more
First experience here was amazing. The property itself is very beautiful and the camping pooh bear cabins are well positioned overlooking the snake river. Loved that there was a fire pit for each camping cabin and they were able to deliver a bundle of wood to my cabin so it was there upon my arrival after their reservation desk closed. The community bathrooms were close by and each bathroom had its own individual shower which was unexpected and wonderful. The showers had nice HOT water and the bathrooms were heated and clean... read more
This place is so darling!! Our cabin was so cozy and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Upon check-in we were greeted by the most lovely staff, they made us feel so welcomed and inspired us to enjoy our first night with a campfire right outside our door! The river is beautiful, too, and made for a very scenic walk! It was also very nice that we were less than 10 minutes away from a Hot Spring and less than 20 minutes from Jackson Hole square. We enjoyed our time here and cannot wait to come ba... read more
We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a camper cabin with a view of the river. It was a great location for visiting Grand Teton National Park. We liked that it was outside the cute but super busy and crowded town of Jackson. We traveled with our dog and appreciated the dog area a lot. The shower/bathroom house is very nice. Everything is very clean and well kept in the entire place. Staff is extremely friendly. Only downside is that the cabins are very close together.
Nice campground overall. Our neighbors were all very friendly and we enjoyed access to the Snake River. Appreciated the full hook-ups and beautiful tall trees in the campground. Quiet location about 20 minutes south of Jackson. Very pricey--I think this is the most expensive camping spot I've ever paid for aside from an in-national park camping spot. But there are very few other camping options in the Jackson, WY area (surprisingly) and I suppose it comes with the territory. I had originally booked a 30-foot spot online with... read more
