Family Owned Since 1979! Bud Chatham dreamed of owning the Snake River Cabins since he was an 18 year-old skinny kid, toiling away his college summers at SRC. He’d scrub the bathrooms by day, and talk for hours on a payphone to his incredibly smart and talented girlfriend (now wife) Kelly by night. The cabin had a great view of the snake river, the location was quiet, 10 min drive to Jackson. Kitchen & grilling supplies in the cabin was nice to have. All employees were very nice.
Very clean, office staff was great. Cabin had everything we needed to grill outside. Sound of the river was peaceful. I hope to go back.
This place is so darling!! Our cabin was so cozy and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Upon check-in we were greeted by the most lovely staff, they made us feel so welcomed and inspired us to enjoy our first night with a campfire right outside our door! The river is beautiful, too, and made for a very scenic walk! It was also very nice that we were less than 10 minutes away from a Hot Spring and less than 20 minutes from Jackson Hole square. The Snake River cabins was a perfect spot just outside of Jackson. Loved the community feeling, laundry, gas fire pits, river, store, etc. The rooms were very clean except for the floors. They did not seem like they had been mopped in quite some time. We got there late so cleaned them ourselves with wet paper towels 🤷♀️. Our cabin was very clean, well appointed, and excellent size for a family of 4. The property was in excellent condition and really well maintained. The location was around 15 minutes just south of Jackson Hole. The comments about the cabins/RV & tent sites being really close are true, so as long as you know that going into it, you shouldn't be surprised. The staff was excellent, friendly, and helpful.
