I was a little apprehensive about my first appointment with Southampton dental smiles group since they took over the practice of my long time dentist Dr. Virpi H. Schaeffer ... who was the GOAT 🐐. Well , I must say the experience was great . The new staff and dentist were knowledgeable.... accomplished ... talented... and they made me feel comfortable right away. Thanks Mike R.
My reviews for this are nothing about Dr Schaefer herself. She's a great dentist. My problem is with the practice. Here's the deal...after 32 years of being told "we're family ", I was abruptly dropped as a client because of Medicare. Look, I get it. "Nothing personal. Strictly business (what happened to "we're family"?" But, while covered under 3rd party insurance, I received my routine 6 month cleaning where it was discovered I needed 4 repairs. It wasn't until I showed up for my next appointment to fix these repairs that ... read more
I needed extensive dental work. The dentist listened to my preferences and I’m very happy with the results.
Thank you to Dr Rubenstein and his excellent staff for a wonderful visit. Special mention to my hygienist, Victoria, who is the best!
The ataff and dentist are great people. They're kind people and do a great job with dental care.
