We had an outstanding experience with Dr. Funk and the team at Southern Arizona Endodontics (Southeast). My 12-year-old needed a root canal due to damage from a childhood bike accident that affected a permanent tooth, and I was understandably nervous going in. My daughter had to have a root canal. I was nervous for her because she suffers with TMJ which had prevented her from getting it done with other providers. The doctor was aware and did everything to make her comfortable. She was able to get the procedure done with minimal discomfort.
All the staff were professional and nice. I had a root canal done yesterday by Dr. Smith. Everything was explained before the procedure so I knew what to expect. I have had minimal pain since the procedure, taking Ibuprofen once. I highly recommend Dr. Smith.
Staff could not have been nicer. My first time at the Houghton Rd location. I would never say getting your teeth worked on was great, but Dr. Hughes made sure to discuss all my options with me and made the procedure as painless as possible. I had confidence in So Az Endodontics from past experiences, and this visit did not disappoint. You'll be well taken care of.
It's difficult to believe a root canal can be an amazing experience. It's been awhile since I've had one, but this one seemed to go better than even my last cleaning. A really nice facility and Dr. Uhm had me in and out of the chair in less than 45 minutes. I still can't believe how little pain there is the next day. I don't need any ibuprofen at all. I am very grateful they were able to schedule me so quickly. I will absolutely be going back to SA Endodontics if I am ever unfortunate enough to need another root canal.
