We had an outstanding experience with Dr. Funk and the team at Southern Arizona Endodontics (Southeast). My 12-year-old needed a root canal due to damage from a childhood bike accident that affected a permanent tooth, and I was understandably nervous going in. Office is nice and clean. Dental Assistant is darling. Dr John Smith is rude! On initial exam he states that two teeth need to be extracted and only sends information about one tooth to the Dentist. He was sharp with answers and not very communicative. Root canal seems to be good work (should be when he does 20-25 per week) but sure leaves the patient with questions and frustration.
One of the best, if not the best experience I’ve had at a dental office. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and unusually comforting (in a good way). My root canal was pretty quick and almost completely painless; well done. I would definitely recommend to friends, family and strangers alike.
Got me in the same day. Dr. Funk got my root canal done so fast I had no idea he was already done. It was only about 20 minutes. My other 3 root canals seemed like they took an hour. Great experience, decent price.
All the staff were professional and nice. I had a root canal done yesterday by Dr. Smith. Everything was explained before the procedure so I knew what to expect. I have had minimal pain since the procedure, taking Ibuprofen once. I highly recommend Dr. Smith.
