I had a good experience the 1st time taking my son to Special Smiles. Although my son had a sore throat afterwards, because they use a different local anesthesia which requires tubes down your throat. I was looking forward to returning and was sadly disappointed with the protocols on paperwork. The front desk are not well versed on looking at the current paperwork for email address and telephone numbers. Be forewarned .. they will cancel appointments without notifying the proper parent. Thank you all for the best experience I could ask for my daughter. Dr. Erin is always amazing! The nurses were phenomenal! The anesthesiologist was wonderful and very informative. The ladies at the front desks were awesome! I was so nervous for my daughter but everyone made us feel so comfortable! Thank you!
They did not show any urgency for scheduling a root canal for my son even when he was in considerable pain. I can't speak for the level of care because they make you fill out forms then wait another day to call for a consultation. You need a consultation before a procedure. That's far too much time when a child is in so much pain. I went to Endodntics Ltd. They took him the next day without general anesthesia.
I give it no good friends my daughter been going there since she was like five or six she 22 now and they wanted to go and do emails on the doctor form so she can have her appointment you tell person one thing and then they do another they cancel my daughter appointment they have you waiting for a long time will you come there early in the morning and my daughter is a diabetic then they put your seat CEO on the phone because you in the secretary had a argument and you said some words to her they cancel the appointment and do... read more
This place is awesome for getting dental work for special needs. But the Customer Service staff isn’t that great. They’re not very friendly when you ask questions and can be a bit rude.
