Front end staff was horrendously rude. When I asked what was going on, I was met with rude remarks an no real information that I was asking for, over a simple change of insurance. Rather than assisting and telling me what was going on, they ignored me and treated me like I had no right to ask why it was taking so long for my children to be seen. I am disappointed in the service I received at Spencer Dental. On my original visit, they were quick to want to pull a tooth instead of performing a root canal. They told me since there was a crown, they couldn't do it and referred me to a clinic in virginia Beach, an hour away. When I called the clinic, they were closed for the week and to call on Monday. That Monday, the Norfolk Spencer Dental called and said they had an appointment open for Tuesday to perform the root canal, I said great. I arrived 10 min early and waited... read more

I loved my experience last Friday. I took my middle child to the location on East Little Creek and everybody was so nice. The best part is that , after a few non pleasant visits to other locations , I was able to feel confident and trust the professionals. The information they gave me was very good and gave me peace of mind. They took the time to answer all my questions and now I feel so good I can start my sons’s treatment well informed and with no concerns.

This place has went way down since covid. I've had two appointments canceled, this month alone. First time I was told it was because the dentist went on vacation and only braces were being done. Okay, whatever I rescheduled for 2 weeks out. I got an email with a link to confirm the appointment.But the link never loads. In this email, the link says confirm appointment with the link and their phone number with a message that says call us for any questions. This is insane. I have now waited over 6 months for an adult appointment and now they have canceled my third attempt at an appointment without explanation and were unable to reschedule because of zero availability. I showed up for an appointment that was scheduled and confirmed two weeks ago and was told by the front desk that they couldn’t see me because I was scheduled in a child’s appointment time, she was extremely rude me acted like it was my fault that they scheduled me in the wrong appointment block.
