Aby and her staff at Avondale Spooner are Great! This my second time going there this year. They take their time and push me just enough to get progress from the last time I was there. I really do appreciate that Aby personally handles my rehab! She takes a personal interest in every case. They actually know more than the doctor does. Brian is my therapist and is very knowledgeable and genuinely cares. In fact the entire Team are supportive and caring. They are Covid compliance and they sanitize the equipment before I use it and it gives me peace of mind.
Brad Daly is an amazing PT. I am working with Brad for the second time and Brad is amazing in what he does as a physical therapist but he also cares about what is going on with the rest of your health and you as a whole. He is also great at keeping the mood light and can take a joke and give a joke.
I was referred here by my doctor for lower back pain. I called ahead of time to set an appointment and asked how much it was going to cost me. They (Spooner) said they would call me back with the cost after they talked to my insurance company. They called me back saying it was a $60 copay. I went to two appointments and realized it was nothing more than a gym with less equipment. Then, I get a bill in the mail for additional money. One of the worst experiences with a medical office. Therapy services were OK, but they mis quoted copays, submitted claims inappropriate, stuggled to take care of insurance authorizations timely nor effectively, overbooked patients so you couldn't get in weekly as perscribed and have to wait two weeks between visits. Not to mention one of the most unprofessional looking offices around with a cheap desk and scattered, mismatched chairs in the middle of the room as the reception area. What a disappointment.
