Place is great but the indoor slide for the pool needs to be fixed. When you’re paying the cost of a family membership you’d expect everything to be in working order. Overall we enjoy it since it’s close to home but come on. Also the facilities overall are a bit on the dirty side. It’s also hard to get a good work out in anytime after 4pm as it’s packed with teenagers with terrible etiquette and constant profanity. Where are the parents!

If you are a woman you should go to register alone. I motivated my husband to join, I set up the meeting and payments but they put everything into my husbands name, I had to set up separate accounts to do anything for childcare and after 2 years I'm still struggling with summer camp arrangements because he gets all the emails and I can't access the same things. I was a member for six years until recently, and during that time I watched the facility decline significantly. The women’s bathrooms have mold, the vents were packed with lint, and the same worn, dirty tiles and showers went untouched for years. Pool closures became frequent—not for maintenance, but so local school swim teams or outside groups could use the space. I’ve loved this place for so many years but lately I’ve been very disappointed. Their elevator has not been working, disproportionately impacting the senior community at the Spring Valley YMCA. Numerous people have been unable to access the senior classes for months now, even after repeated attempts to address it with staff This has led to safety concerns as people have struggled upstairs to maintain their class attendance and social lives while being negatively impacted and risking their physical health on the stairs.
