Very pleased with the care I received from VOA. We are from Michigan so we had no prior experience with VOA. After calling and explaining my knee injury they got me in the very next day. The staff were efficient and skilled in their areas of expertise (front desk, X-ray, brace fitting and MA. His office staff is always eggar to help in any way. Dr Cowart and is PA Michale are A very professional shows care and concern for your overall benefit from their facility with staff and doctors. Yesterday was my first time using the surgical center, but again they were nothing less than professional and very efficient and tentative to me and my needs.
Dr. Cowart is a great doctor. He listens to all your questions, and explains everything very well. He gave me my options for my meniscus tear in my right knee, I ended up having arthroscopic surgery on 10-27-2025. He removed my torn meniscus with this surgery. I had my last post op appointment today 01-23-2026 and he explained what to expect in the future. My knee is now a 0 on the 1 to 10 pain scale. I highly recommend Dr. Cowart. Thank you for everything Dr. Cowart!!!!
Knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The entire staff listened to to me as I explained the issue I am having with my right hip. I first saw Dr. Cowart's PA after he explained what he believed to be the problem Doctor Cowart came in and was attentive to my concerns and assured me that he believed it to be the same prognosis that the PA had given me. Long story short, I was pleased with the care I received. They put me on some oral medication and will monitor my progress with it.
Fast and efficient. Diagnosed my issue, started my treatment plan, and i was out the door. The doctor and his assistant did talk very fast but other than that the visit was great.
