Stewart Title cost me thousands of dollars (earnest money and time delay costs) due to their inability to replace a lost staff member. We gave Stewart Title 60 days to prep for our closing. IN the middle of our closing their "lead" staff member left to work for a competitor in the area. Stewart Title did NOTHING for their clientele in the interim. 4 DAYS before we are supposed to "close" they began to ask for information we had already supplied OR asked them if we needed to provide. Last two transaction have died to due title not having paperwork in timely manner. On both transactions, the company was non-responsive (apparently due to phone issues) to all forms of communications & was always closed at odd hours during the day. Wouldn't recommend this particular office in Castroville.
Tanya and Vangie and the entire staff of Stewart Title in Castroville were on top of the entire closing process. They are my go to title company when referring clients!
