As a first time home owner, I was hoping to have an exciting experience signing our paperwork. Ruby Contreras was our escrow officer and she was rude from the beginning. Called over a mutual client to gather information for him regarding his finances. The lady they passed me to was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was trying to verify the amounts on the forms my client had sent me to make sure he was reporting the correct amounts as the amount differed from the closing documents and his spouse's paperwork. If I could recommend this place to anyone I surely would not. Melissa Walker who helped us close on our home had no manners was uptight and took the joy away from me and my family closing on our very first home. In mid January of this year, we were looking into purchasing a home from Palo Verde homes. So, I bought a money order of $100 as the earnest money and made it to Stewart title company. After about six days, we decided not go through the purchase. I had accidentally misplaced the receipt for the money order to get my refund. Yet I have attempted to deposit the money order to my bank as non negotiated and they will not do it.
