I would never recommend Stewart Title. They were very unorganized and delayed ordering a new survey for the property. This caused a delay in my closing. They called me at 10:30AM on Friday for a 3PM close that same day. When I got to their office for closing, no one from Stewart Title even acknowledged I was there, or apologized for the delay in closing. A 28 yr old lien nearly ruined the sale of my retired parents house. Stewart Title from top to bottom went the extra mile to help clear up the confusion. When my mom heard the news she cried for 2 days. I reminded her of what she always told me... never quit. She didn't and neither did anyone at Stewart Title. The error was corrected. Thank you to all the great people at Stewart Title. That goes from top to bottom.

This title company is the worst. The only time there was the least bit of responsiveness was to collect the earnest money. Any other time they wouldn’t answer phone calls, specifically the day before close. The lack of professionalism is shocking. You would think more consideration would go into performing a great job in a falling economy. You’re welcome for our business but we certainly wont be referring anyone!
