This office gets one star due to their friendliness. They were very kind and had smiles on their face, good customer service. HOWEVER... When you are going to handle several thousands of dollars of someone else's money, sadly, you need more than friendly service alone. We recently used Stewart Title to close on our home in Fresno and I'm overall not happy with the service. Martha and her Staff are always quick, knowledgeable and informative in any and all escrows! She is my first and only choice to handle my escrows! If you want someone that keeps you quickly informed of everything going on in your Escrow and never dodging a potential problem - than you need to switch to Martha and her Staff! You will be amazed !
Working with Stewart Title was very easy. Personnel were professional, responsive, easy to reach, consistent with infomation - all of which made the closing on our home very easy even though we live on the opposite side of the United States! Thank you Stewart Title.
Two parcels were sold; they transferred one. It is 9 months since they were first told of the error, and still not corrected. They do not follow up. They do not respond quickly - except with out-of-office notices. I am glad I was the seller and not the buyer. They are refusing to pay for notary costs - I had to find the notary and set it up, they did nothing - until I send the signed copy of the "correctory deed". I would like the refund for notary costs first, as I don't trust their "business" approach to reimburse me once ... read more
