We’ve been working with Stewart Title for two decades now. I’d recommend them anytime. Very professional and comfortable place at the downtown branch location. Full service and knowledgeable.
Never in my entire life have I met a title company that has fumbled and made so many mistakes. I am not sure if Melanie Jones is incompetent or just doesn't care. Either way I will be making sure to steer every buyer I meet away from Stewart title.
Last summer I did a refinance and this was the Title company selected by the lender and broker. First issue is they found some judgements of two individuals with the same name as my husband. Well a simple search on the counties website I was able to locate the last 4 of the social whom they judgement belonged to which did not match my husbands.
