I recently sold my home through Stewart Title and was shocked by the repeated errors and lack of professionalism throughout the transaction. One of the most serious failures was that a listed lien payoff—my reverse osmosis loan, which appeared on the final settlement statement—was allowed to expire due to buyer-side closing delays. Ms. Judy was wonderful to work with! She explained everything in detail during the signatures at closing. The following week when she went to file the records, there was a detail not listed on the sale ad or in the agreement paperwork that she found out about last minute. She called me immediately and we worked together to resolve that issue. Everyone I worked with over the phone and email leading up to the signatures at closing was extremely helpful and very pleasant to work with.
