I've been renting a space for about 10 yrs. I recently rented 2 - 10x20 storage spaces. First, I didn't check prices elsewhere as this location is ALWAYS very clean and well taken care of, especially the last 3 to 4 years. The spaces awaiting rental are spotless and ready. My experience with Storage Direct has been great. The property is always clean and my climate controlled units are comfortable. Most important is the staff. India and Sara are 2 of the kindest ladies I have ever met. I work endless hours there at times. They remind me to take a break some days and make sure I remember to drink water...which is offered in the office. Thank you India and Sara...YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!
If you rent based on the discount you will get beware. Here is my experience. Very disappointing. And even more so is they will not make it right. I rented based on the initial 30% off 2 months. There are several options in the area but this was the deciding factor for me. I rented one size but then decided I needed something bigger. My original reservation was cancelled after stopping at the office and changing dates. When I actually moved in I was l lucky to get a unit and was told no discount. Disappointed. This place is a joke. "Air conditioned." Nope, that's a lie, they're swamp cooled. The door on my unit was broken, it wouldn't stay up. This was a safety hazard to myself and my movers. The storage manager stated that she would have it fixed, but never did. Today, as I vacated after six month, I cracked my head on the still broken door. What a slapdash operation.
