June who runs this Storage Sense is the most respectful and respectable. She is always so helpful in all the units I rent from them and always takes mindful care of me. She's always so kind and well organized. All of the units we have rented have been very clean, easy to access and easy entry.

JUNE DAWSON FOR PRESIDENT!! I have had my share of great customer service experiences but none of them compare to the excellence that is June Dawson. I had a terrible mover situation (to the point I was in tears and the police had to be called-This moving company was atrocious.) June kept me calm, stayed extra late to help me with the police and even checked up on me after the fact to see if I was OK. I will recommend her and Storage Sense to everyone I ever meet. Storage Sense on Folly Road on James Island is a well managed storage facility that offers everything you need to store your stuff. They make everything in the process very easy and offer good customer service when you need it. I have been happy with all that they have to offer here and it has worked out well.
Driving by on a Sunday recently I clearly saw Citrus cleaners truck spraying down equipment in the front parking lot and if your storage unit is anywhere near this it will get spray residue on any thing you take in or out. I had to stop what I was doing once so that my belongings did not get ruined from this. Please consider other options

My experience with this location was with a unit for around three years and it was not a pleasant one. I found that the rent increases about every six months, and your kinda trapped until you vacate or move to another storage facility. The units have a rat population, ( I spoke with another renter there on site with same complaint) I have photos if needed of the dead one in my unit on move out day after I spread rat poison out in it.
