They raise your rent about every 4-6 months and make you have insurance.took away the convenience of paying outside and website has issues with paying. They dont maintain seasonally ice . They have way painted the buildings to save money but keep raising rent.
Cleanest facility I have encountered in a long time! I rented a 10x10 and the experience i had with the staff is amazing 👏 and the front desk man Max was very professional and very considerate of all my needs! So much so I am recommending storage star to my family and friends! Thank you Max again I was having a hard time as it was and you made the process easy!
Just got another notice of another rate increase! Rent went up almost $100 in less than a year since the new company took over! I live in Texas and can't do a dang thing about it but I'm going to get out of there as quickly as I can!
Since Storage Star took over they’ve increased rent twice now. Once back in March 2024 and I just got a got a notice of a rent increase starting in December! $145 to $158 not including the $15 insurance they charge for a 10x15 I believe (not climate controlled.) It’s super unfortunate because now I’m faced with the difficult task of possibly finding a new, cheaper storage unit while 6 months pregnant before winter and the holidays.
The place is clean, well kept with a secure facility and location,the manager on site 24/7 was also very accommodating .Their website was also very useful and easy to navigate.WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND.
