This place is highly unprofessional I am extremely disappointed in their front desk staff. Saw my doctor after being treated with hydroxyzine from my psychiatrist I saw here found out I was overdosed on the amount I was told to take. I have cancelled my future appointment with my provider on the phone with her weeks ago and told her I am no longer establishing care here and she never cancelled it. The portal was very easy to use and had an excellent screening process. The provider was very easy to talk to and overall helpful. I was satisfied with my visit.
Ashley Hazeman has been a lifesaver! She has shown a ton of compassion and understanding throughout all my issues. All of the staff that support her have also been really great and easy to work with.
Appointment details were misleading as to what was going to happen. It was difficult to understand what was being said because of the psychiatrist had a very heavy accent. Despite having to fill out endless paper work I had to repeat information upto 3x during the session. I'm not sure I'm going to stay with Summit.
Very unfortunate experience: was weaning off two medications and was not provided education about withdrawal symptoms, which I experienced. Instead was told to do my own research (which is dangerous depending on where someone might research) and go to the ER if needed. Worse, I was prescribed benzodiazepine and an antipsychotic for withdrawal symptoms, which I never took and have never been diagnosed with the disorders those medications treat.
