Dr. Hoover and his staff are kind, friendly and care about the patients both about their health and also life. They explain what they are doing, they tell you exactly where you are in your dental care and discuss options if more services could help. They tell you approximate amounts if a service is suggested to help with decision making. They are funny and great to be around. They work with my daughter at her level which is huge to me. They also talk to us both about her card as well. I will not go to anyone else!
My experience was very positive! The hygienist (Peggy) who cleaned my teeth was thorough, gentle and very pleasant. Our family love having Dr Hoover as our dentist. He had taken care of us for several years and we always feel like we are in great hands. The receptionist was friendly and efficient.
Dr Stoker and his assistant, Whitney, were so very patient, gentle, slow, and encouraging with my young teen daughter when she needed three baby teeth extracted for her braces. My daughter's fears were soaring high until Dr Stoker's calm demeanor was able to coach her on each step of the procedure. She was eased into each baby step and felt emotionally comfortable. Ginger and Doctor Evan Johnson have been caring for my teeth for over twenty years. They are the best. Ginger, my dental hygienist, performs the most thorough, professional, gentle cleaning I’ve ever experienced. And Dr. Johnson is the most skilled, professional, knowledgeable dentist I’ve ever had. (Hate to lose him to his retirement in December.)
I have been with Sunnyside Dental since early in Evan's career 30+ years, he is simply the best I could ever have asked for and my teeth are all the better for his work. His attention to ensuring teeth fit perfectly, was above and beyond. Congratulations on his retirement, and I trust he is leaving us well cared for in the culture of perfection he developed at Sunnyside.
