I finally was able to try one of Richmond dessert staples. I got cookies and cream with a cinnamon sugar cone, and my mom got non-dairy strawberry with a red velvet cone. Everything tasted very good and paired very well together. There’s so many options that I definitely will be making my way back to the sweet spot. Thank you to the worker who helped us tonight and allowed us to try different flavors ;) 10 out of 10 recommend!!!
The Sweet Spot, beyond having wonderful ice cream, had wonderful staff. I came in on a slow day where the ice cream was covered up and despite being a solo foodie, the kind staff member was ready for me to look at everything and take the lids off, and let me try some of their unique flavors. I got the Key Lime Pie with a French vanilla cone; I would HIGHLY recommend!
I think the first thing you'll notice when you walk into this place is how many flavors of ice cream or iced products that they have. I was a little overwhelmed at first but it wasn't just me, the people behind me said about the same thing I did when they saw the menu. I got the vegan lemon ice. It was absolutely delicious! I haven't had this good of lemon ice since Europe. A 2 scoop dish with tip was $9.31. it's got a good vibe very family-oriented or nice place to go on a first date. All in all it was a good experience ... read more
I was looking for somewhere with different dessert options and this was definitely the spot! They have so so many options and flavors to enjoy. We went for a cookie ice cream sandwich with the pirate treasure ice cream which they recommended. I’m glad we opted for sharing because that sandwich was bigger than my hand. I really enjoyed it and definitely want to go back.
Sweet Spot lives up to the name. The non-dairy options are no joke — I got a toasted coconut and peanut butter sundae shake that was so thick I had to put in work just to drink it. If you’re dairy-free and thought you were missing out, think again. This place got you.
