I used Synergy for at least three years, possibly longer, until my spouse died, and would use them again for myself if I ever have a need. My parents have been utilizing Synergy’s services for a little over a month now. They came to do the initial assessment in the hospital which helped make things go quicker when it came time for my Dad to discharge. We initially had an aide from Synergy come who was not a good fit. But after communicating with Synergy our concerns, they helped coordinate with us to find an aide that we would mesh with. I was very disappointed in the quality of service Synergy provided. We would continually find the caregivers simply relaxing in the recliner on their phone while my mother was left unattended. We'd check after the caregiver left and very little seemed to have been done. Very few log entries were ever made by the caregivers even though they are supposed to document each visit.
