Okay first of all this building is amazing!!!! It is so clean and is so gorgeous! Secondly the PEOPLE here are OUTSTANDING!!! I wish I could give this location 10 stars instead of 5 because it is that great! I've seen several Independent living facilities all over the Treasure Valley and they just don't compare to level of professionalism that Veranda provides and lives by! Seriously if you are looking for a place to retire, live, or get your folks into this is hands down the best place to go! You wont be disappointed.
I love Veranda! The caregivers are kind, the food is delicious, and the new additions to memory care (e.g. library, garden, theater) are a nice touch.
Veranda has the best leadership, caregivers, food, activities, and residents in town. Ashely's team is full of leaders within the industry. They take time to implement best practices wherever possible and truly advocate for their residents.
My Mom has been at Veranda almost two years... she recently was moved to the Memory Care side so we have experienced both sides!!! The staff is AWESOME and so caring! They show so much love to my Mom.... I never worry about if she is being treated good because I know she is, I stop in all times if the day / night and always find her in a good place! They keep the residents busy with activities, music, tv programs, reading, cooking classes, entertainment, it really stimulates the residents! I'm so happy Veranda Senior Living ... read more
My husband was a resident of Table Rock Assisted Living for 3 weeks. I want to share some experiences that we as a family had during that time period. Some employees on the dementia side of the building are caring and nice. The girls are not CNA trained. They are on the job trained. They are young and lack common sense. We had a terrible experience with my stepdad passing away there a few weeks ago. I've waited to post a review for some type of apology from this place for my mom for our treatment, but the only contact has been to ask for payment for an additional 14 days after his passing, which seems unreasonable and/or criminal to me. Some of the staff are caring but they can't keep staff, constantly needing to hire new people with limited training. The Administrator is to blame. He is uncaring, arrogant, and likes to intimidate women. He uses his loud voice and body size to make people do what he wants. Female staff and residents should be cautious of his actions.
sickening. I thought this would be a good fit but unfortunately after realizing the management barely cared for the well being of their PAYING residents I realize it's not. This is not a place of hospitality or care, it's a place your parents get shoved in the middle of the living room, employees take unnecessarily long breaks and let call lights go off for hours, elderly wasting in their pee and feces. Since the new management cut care staff, 1 woman broke her leg pushed her button and was on the floor for 2 hours before someone came to help her. They fired so many caregivers for false reasons. All the lower level employees are afraid that one wrong move and they will be fired. You can see it in their faces, they are overworked and harassed.
