I was a bit skeptical about bringing my new puppy here after reading some negative reviews, but it's basically impossible to get an appointment at any other vets right now so I figured I'd give it a go and we honestly had the best experience. Every single person I spoke with was incredibly kind, knowledgeable and accommodating. Thank you for offering to let me hold my baby in my arms as he passed this morning. I wasn't expecting to have the option to do this and it scared me at first. Though I decided to be there for him as he's always been there for me. As it's still hitting me hard in the feels, seeing him at peace lifted a great deal of pain for the both of us. For Skooter. I took my coco bean here before Christmas and my dog was diagnosed with dka and although they couldn't help her there the Dr sent me to an emergency vet and walked me through the process. Thank you Dr Hughes. We will be back!!! Coco bean is doing well !!!
Dr Hughes was very helpful and understanding of my dogs issues. She spent a long time going over my options and didn't pressure me to make decisions I wasn't comfortable with. Wait was long but understand due to Covid.
Fair prices and knowledgeable vets. They assist on first come, first served so it takes a lot of time and patience to be seen. With covid, it's become quite a nightmare to get seen as they no longer offer sit in. We are required to call each morning starting at 8AM for availability of that particular day which unfortunately, I don't have time for due to work. I want to give a shout out to Taylor, the very nice woman who handles the phone at Value Pet Clinic - Tacoma. I didn't actually take my pet here, but my puppy's previous owner did and I had to contact them to obtain her previous medical records. Unfortunately I didn't have the previous owner's name, so legally they are unable to release the records to me or my new vet, but Taylor went above and beyond to try and find my puppy in their system and contacted the previous owner by phone and email for their consent to release the... read more
We had to say goodbye to our beloved cat Rocky and I wasn't able to get him in to our vet. I called Value Pet Clinic in Tacoma and they were so nice on the phone and gave me all the information. Check-in was easy and the staff was so kind. They gave us plenty of time to be with him before and after. It was a horrible situation but they made it a lot easier.
Update: I haven't been in yet but WOW what a wonderful change from last time. Great communication about wait times, the ability to check in via text, this is already a so much better experience compared to two months ago. Now, I did call at 8:15am knowing they open at 9am and I was still this far down the line to be seen, but that is completely forgivable given the significant improvement in communication. These people are amazing when other pet clinics one pet clinic actually wanted $6000.00 up front to treat my dog over thanks giving and my boxer was dying by the way from a Parasite found in raw salmon but anyways pet clinic didn't ask anything about money star treatment immediately right away save my dogs life took care of them over Thanksgiving weekend and I still have a healthy happy healthy puppy thanks to the pet clinic these guys are awesome thank you very much if it wasn't for them caring more about the animals then ... read more
