Jorey from Taitlin Studio was great to work with and did an amazing job on our black walnut, live-edge dining table. We are so pleased with it and I highly recommend him if you are considering a custom table. He helped us figure out the leg design and was able to create exactly what we wanted.

We were looking for a new dining room table and reached out to Jorey based on his reviews and the fact that he was based in Alberta. Through emails and one phone call we went through various custom options and ended up selecting one of the models listed on his website (the Column Table) in walnut. Jorey was very trustworthy and full of transparent conversation during the construction of our custom and SOLID walnut table (with huge expansion capabilities for a large family and friend group). We ordered via online, telephone without seeing him in person and he did 💯 Review Edit: We have had our table for over a year, I came back to say that it is still perfect, gorgeous, easy to expand with perfect leaves (there are two!), and is immaculate after much wear!
My wife and I recently purchased a table from Jorey and we couldn’t be happier. The entire process was easy and stress free. We had the leg dimensions/angles built around our existing chairs. Which he confirmed with 3D models. When he delivered and set it up I realized that I hadn’t considered the width of the legs at the end of the table. Even though this was my oversight he insisted that he remedy this issue. He had the legs taken apart and reconstructed in one day.
