My intake session was horrible, and if I could leave 0 stars, I would. Tamara Mason was condescending towards me and my mental health issues, and she would scoff and make faces when I talked about what I was struggling with for the intake session. I only talked about surface-level things like lack of sleep or struggling with anxiety and she was already making faces. My initial meeting with Tamara Mason was horrible!! She was condescending and judgmental, rolling her eyes and talking down to me. Absolutely no empathy and definitely lacking in compassionate listening skills. I will never work with her again! I would give her zero stars if I could!
Our first visit was productive but uneasy. She wasn't welcoming. I had offered a hand shake and received a limp wristed princess hand offering. It made me uneasy as she was unconfident from the start. She overall seemed more interested in scheduling more visits then accomplishing and establishing a safe place for people to talk. Super easy to book. Customer service is very friendly and will inform you how to set up for the virtual appts and answer any questions you have. Tamara asked what I thought my problem areas were and why I thought that. We went through history of symptoms and how it made me feel. We decided on a plan to get a better idea of how my problems are playing in my life so we can make a plan to help alleviate them!
