By far the best dental experience I've ever had! Everyone was friendly. The location was very clean. The staff was very informative and was able to answer any questions I had. The only issue I had was that it took an abnormally long time to verify my insurance coverage.
My first two visits I had a pleasant experience. I had a quick in and out and efficient visit for teeth cleaning. I did notice they took a large amount of X-rays and up billed my insurance, but I did not get charged for these after my insurance declined them. The third visit, I was told by my hygienist I would be getting a fluoride treatment that day and was not told it would cost extra until after the visit was complete. Lately I’ve felt like true hospitality is lacking in Atlanta, but Tend always makes me feel at home. Staff at tend is friendly, attentive, and professional. I’ve never really had to wait long once I arrive for my appointment, and punctually for me it’s important. I’ve had a couple of different hygienists and they’ve both been awesome. Last week, I was seen by a new doctor and he made me feel like he had been seeing me for years. I would name him but I can’t remember his name. Best dentist I have ever been to. I had a tooth break on a Saturday. Tend took me the same day, when my dentists office was closed until Monday. I can say confidently it was the greatest experience I have had. Not only was the office beautiful, with very modern technology, but the staff was incredibly gentle, kind, and generous. I suffer from extreme dental anxiety, and after this experience I will be switching to this office for my primary care.
I liked this dentist at first because they were able to see me immediately when I had an emergency and they have a nice, modern space that is very clean. Over time I realized they see emergencies at the cost of rescheduling regular appointments. Fine, that was something I could tolerate since I know how awful it is to have a dental emergency and no one can see you. Then I started noticing a lot of turnover with the staff.
