I came to Tend for at least three (3) or four (4) years. It was decent service until this last visit. I came for an infection tooth problem and my brand new crown was cracked during cleaning. Now I believe the other customers bad experience. Staff turnover is ridiculous. Buyer beware or customer beware.
I had worked with Tend in New York for five years and had a very good experience. Unfortunately this has not been true in Boston. I booked an appointment some weeks in advance. A few days before the appointment I got an email saying that it had been cancelled (no apology or explanation) and offering an appointment over a month later. This really isn't the kind of customer experience I would hope for, would have been respectful to have at least given me a call.
Local guide. Visited twice and will not return. Service varies based on hygienist and it is questionable. The staff is generally friendly but there are aspects that lack. First visit for dental cleaning, I was there for two hours with a 30 min wait for the dentist to arrive and speak to me for 3 minutes at the end. Just too long. Second visit, I returned because for pregnant patients they only do X-rays after first trimestre. I was told I only had to come in to get the X-rays I couldn’t get during my first appointment. Amazing staff. Super clean office. Xrays have never been easier and the transparency of my care is the absolute best! Tend makes me look forward to going to the dentist.
Honestly, I wanted to love Tend. It's trendy, captivating, and customized. Unfortunately, it reminds me of a chair that when you look at it from far away looks really great but you sit on it and it falls apart. They have cute zipper bags and everything is modernized, and they let you choose your Netflix show (which after 3 visits, they never actually put on the one I selected).
