There are NO negatives for us. We stayed Thursday through Sunday Morning. We ate in the restaurant several times. The food and service was fantastic. The attention to details, in the meals and the entire house was impeccable . The employees each and everyone of them were GREAT. (sorry I can't remember her name) The Manager was so informative on things in the area, the Hotel itself, and she had info on all the questions we had. Everything about this hotel was amazing! The house is historic and beautiful from the 1800s. It was E.H. Taylor's home. The rooms are absolutely beautiful with modern charm, the check in and check out process was an absolute breeze with automated codes for your room. The staff was lovely and accommodating. My husband and I stayed at the Ashbrook Hotel while touring the Bourbon Trail, and it was such a special experience. There’s something really unique about getting to be part of history in a place that blends the originality of an old home with modern, eclectic style. I could have chose to see John Michael Montgomery final show at Rupp. I chose the package with the stay at this place. So yes I won this package from Hank Fm. I picked Sunday February the 15th to celebrate my husband's birthday and a late Valentines Day. I was suppose to get the king suite. So check in was 3 pm. They sent an email at 255 with details that my room was out of order. I dont believe that for a second. When they realized my stay was free, they gave my room to a.paying customer. BAD BUSINESS! We rolled in pretty late but the staff was still welcoming and answered our questions. We stayed in the luxury king room and loved it. Bed was comfortable, room was very clean. If you get into town before 9pm there's plenty to do within walking distance too.
