Two of the receptionists are deeply homophobic. How do I know? I had to listen to their disgusting conversation about one of their co-workers while I was filling out the new patient paperwork. Their words were so vile and rude that I left before I could even complete the paperwork. I went there for care, not bigotry and judgement. I feel so sorry for their co-worker; they started talking about him as soon as he left the room.
I came in with a cut in my hand due to a domestic accident and the nurses saw me extremely quickly and were very attentive, calming me down and explaining the what they were doing and why. I was extremely pleased with the experience.
I have been to BRC-UC on two occasions. Each time I went I have had different employees help me. Both occasions the care was excellent! From the time that I walked in the door, until the time that I exited the facility. The staff is very friendly, and most importantly they have listened to my concerns.
Have sat in the waiting room listening to the employees talk poorly about any patient who walks in after 7:00 pm multiple times. Came here to get my allergy shot at 7:29pm and was refused service because they “leave at 8:00.”
I bring my 78 yo mother in who is on oxygen in late stage COPD, running fever, horrible wet cough, in congestive heart failure, that can’t remember anything. When they call her back I get up to go with her to ensure that they know all of her symptoms, history, etc. (bc again she can’t remember everything) and was told “um only the patient”. She lives with me and I am her constant caregiver. The fact that we are not allowed back with our elderly parents (who is sick and scared), is ridiculous.
