My daughter is living and attending college in Baton Rouge. 8 hours away. I chose this clinic based on location and reviews. She went in for a hurt ankle and was refused service. Words were put in her mouth and were stating this was a workplace incident. Which she reiterated that it was not a workplace injury. Not only was she refused service but she was asked to leave when asking for a refund of her copay for a visit she did NOT RECEIVE. These were the nicest people in Healthcare I've interacted with. They were kind and courteous, and seemed to genuinely care about how I felt, and showed patience. Even listening to why I hadn't been to a medical professional in so long(though I gave them the much nicer anecdote). 10/10 so friendly.
Glad i went but a lot of attitude from the nurse practitioner charlotte watts. She would not even put in my excuse i had a driver. I was only asking for help about how to get my driver an excuse to go back to work the same day. She went on about she works for a business in a loud tone for everyone to hear. I’m a patient that was sick i just was seeking help.
Visited Baton Rouge Clinic Urgent Care for a sinus infection. Nurse Practitioner Alice Williams offered a steroid shot and cough suppressant only — no treatment for the actual infection. Completely unhelpful and a waste of time.
My PCP is at Baton Rouge Clinic so I figured this was the urgent care to go to - plus my employer based health insurance is in network. Walked in around 12:40PM, 1/12/26. The lady at the front desk just stared at me as I walked in, with a frown. This, along with the Urgent Care -> sign made me assume the Psychiatric and Urgent Care check in were in two different areas. Nope.
