Worst Experience during a New Year’s Eve. I booked 5 tickets for their new year’s after party and wasn’t allowed in. I waited for more than an hour in the queue to get to the counter and after reaching it they said my tickets aren’t accessible. The tickets were legit and I bought it from Eventbrite. I was told to go to the next entrance to get my tickets verified but I wasn’t allowed inside. I paid a total of 170$ for 5 tickets and wasn’t able to set foot in there. This place is a great vibe but the customer service from these bouncers suck. I went downstairs without paying, obviously the bouncer lets me through. After 2 hours and 2 drinks I go upstairs to use the bathroom. How the hell the bouncer tells me “You can’t go back downstairs without a stamp” which cost $40… After I spent $50 on drinks downstairs. Had a great time at The Delancey! It was crowded at the second floor and quiet in the basement, but the energy was amazing. Prices were average, and it’s a perfect spot if you're looking to party with friends. Would definitely recommend!
45 minutes to check in a coat. $40 per person to go into the overly crowded basement just for a different genre of music It’s an eye roll at first but once past that, the vibe is pretty good for a dancey night out. Bartenders were attentive. Good music. I’d come back without a coat next time lol
