The office was clean and I was made very comfortable by all. Also pleasant and professional staff. This was my firs encounter with Dr. Chima and I am pleased with the level of care she provided.
My experience with The Dermatology Specialists was first rate from the young lady at the receptionist's desk to the assistant who asked the initial questions to the physician's assistant, Christina Lam who I had my appointment with. Every step was top notch!
I believe you have individuals within the company who are frauds. Charging customers for services not rendered is fraud. At first I thought it was just an error, a simple mistake, but after notifying your accounting department at both your Brooklyn & Manhattan offices of the situation and billing error, your company refused to rectify the situation. Cancelled my appointment without notice. Also did not tell me the MD I was scheduled with no longer takes my insurance. Nor do any of their MDs. A waste of my morning.
Worst experience, I would never recommend or step a foot in this location or company ever again. As a new patient I wanted to really love this place and make it my new dermatologist but I’m glad I found another dermatologist who actually diagnosed me correctly and put gloves on to touch me.
When doctors have a patient expressing symptoms in which the doctors are not familiar with, one would expect the doctors would at the very least look up the symptoms their patient gave them. Unfortunately, that only happens on TV. In reality, doctors like the Derma Specialists, blatantly disregard what their patients say to them. Had any ONE doctor taken 5 minutes to look up the symptoms I detailed to them they would have come learned something.
