The front desk/receptionist were extremely courteous, helpful & profeessional. The nurse /assistance was very polite & explained what would happen during the visit. The doctor made the process very smooth. She spoke to me like she was personally invested in my care and how I felt. She made me feel that we were definitely working together in my issues. The entire experience was wonderful because I basically came I , got seen & left rather quickly!
I was really compelled to to write a great review , long story short - I had visited another provider the week before who didn't seem to give my complaint the time of day and had written me a prescription for over the counter meds . This resulted in me getting a second opinion from The Dermatology Specialists - Greenpoint. Deanna Rosenberg and her medical assistant (whose name I regrettably can't recall) were absolutely wonderful with my 6-year-old daughter during her recent eczema shot. My daughter was understandably anxious, crying and shaking her legs, but not once did either of them show any impatience. They were incredibly patient, calm, and understanding, making a difficult situation so much easier for both of us. I had a very disappointing experience with this dermatology office. I came in 8 months ago for a routine skin cancer screening. Prior to the appointment, I called their billing department to confirm that it would be fully covered by my insurance as a preventative screening, and they reassured me it would be. Despite that, I began receiving bills after the visit—even though no procedures were performed beyond the basic screening (which itself was rushed and lasted barely a minute).
