Dr Fossum got me out of pain twice. I am a very very sensitive person and its not easy to work on me. I had a big rare problem with a tooth and it resulted in me doing a root canal in 2 sessions. For sure, if you can't sit still or you are a sensitive person, I really recommend the halcion. It's only $10 and it really works. I didn't even know my appointment was going to be 2 hours long but I was so out of it, it didn't matter. This visit was a referral from my dentist. She said she referred her mother to Dr. Fossum. So, I went for the appointment. Everyone was super nice! He explained everything to me, and was very professional and personable. Lucky for me, I didnt need the services. But what I saw was ideal for a new patient to see
Dr. Fossum was very knowledgeable and straightforward but - more than that - he was very kind and patient. I was anxious and he took time abd effort to tell me step by step what he was doing during the procedure which made a huge difference and was much appreciated! His office staff was also very helpful in explaining cost and insurance coverage. I would definitely recommend him to others!
I was TERRIFIED to get a root canal. I am a redhead and usually don't stay numb during dental procedures. Doc was so compassionate, answered the million questions I had and calemd me down so I felt really comfortable. Laughing gas is a must. At the first sign I felt even a hint of pain, he took care of my numbing and i barely felt a thing. It was the best possible experience I could have hoped for. Highly recommend.
I spent the last few weeks in pretty significant pain due to a fractured tooth. I got in to my dentist first thing Monday morning and was told I needed a root canal. Of course, timing was terrible as I left Wednesday morning for a trip out of town. Dr Fossum got me in within the hour and confirmed the need for the root canal.
