My dad was here for a little over a year. I put cameras in his room and I was up there 2/3 times a week. I watched him all night as I kept the cameras on 24/7 and also recording everything. My dad was treated good. The first 2-3 months was adjusting to him being there. I got angry a lot because I wanted someone with him 24/7. If I could leave a 0 here I definitely would. This place is a disaster. My dad wasn't even there 24 hours and is back at the hospital. They let my dad fall and hit his head after my fa.ily and I told them REPEATEDLY that he needs a call light, bed alarm and rails on his bed because he will try to get up and go to restroom. They did none of that and now he has another fracture on his head. He already has a TBI and now this PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!! I had high hopes for this place as the VA wouldn't discharge my father closer to home as they have to be at least 3 stars through the VA system for them to discharge someone there. Some of the staff really cares. But this is basically like what others have said, a place where people are fed and changed and not much else. The skilled side is supposed to be for stroke patients and other people of high needs like my father, however it has been nothing but issue after issue. These people will literally steal your loved ones belongings.....my friend passed away Thursday...we went to see him Sunday and found out he had passed....They lied and said someone picked up his things....everything was gone by the time we found out..within 3 days they had stolen all of his belongings...his chair his tv...all his personal things gone.....they will only say SOMEONE picked it up....and its gone.....

They took care of my partner through his last days, in hospice, and did a fabulous job. They not only took care of him, but they took care of me as well. Every question I had was answered, every concern I had was addressed. He was kept comfortable, safe, and cared for to the very end. I am very glad that through such a terrible time, we were in such a caring place.
