My gastrointestinal recommended I see Dr. Sowemimo regarding my large “silent”gallstone (no symptoms). During my consultation, he suggested I have my gallbladder removed since the stone was large and with it came potential risks. I was nervous but his medical assistant, Jennifer, was very patient and reassuring. Dr. Sowemimo performed my gallbladder removal and I am relieved he did. I feel great and, after learning there was indeed inflammation despite not having symptoms, I now have piece of mind. Highly recommend!!
I don’t usually write reviews but I felt the need to in this case. Dr. Oluseun Sowemimo is the best!!! I had gallbladder removal surgery a week ago and it was such an easy and smooth procedure. I’m healing well and with very minimal pain or side effects. He also has great bedside manners which is very hard to find nowadays! After dealing with gall bladder pains on and off for about 2 years, I finally ended up at the ER. The surgeon there said that it was time to remove my gall bladder but I would have to wait 2-3 days while I stop taking my blood thinner pills. I wasn’t gonna sit at the hospital for what could end up being 5-6 days when I could simply “not” take my pills at home so I checked myself out AMA.
